Job Title: Territory Manager – Trench Shoring and Shielding Equipment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee the rental and sale of new and used trench shoring, trench shielding equipment, street plates, and pipe plugs within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground construction equipment, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for growing market share while meeting client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Manage and grow customer accounts within the assigned territory.
- Customer Solutions:
- Collaborate with customers and prospects to identify and provide solutions to their equipment needs.
- Sales & Rentals:
- Communicate customer needs for sales or rental quotes to the Vice President, negotiate terms, and close sales or rental opportunities.
- CRM Management:
- Track and forecast proposals, document all levels of the sales process (leads, accounts, contacts, meetings, and calls), and manage market awareness using CRM software.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment and adherence to all conditions of the sale.
- Customer Service:
- Work closely with the Vice President to promptly address customer service issues.
- On-Site Expertise:
- Provide on-site expertise and support to customers as needed.
- Sales Meetings:
- Attend sales meetings and provide insights into territory trends and market awareness.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a territory management role within the underground construction equipment industry.
- Knowledge of Slide Rail Systems and HD Hydraulic Shoring Systems is a strong plus.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA 10 Hour 1926 Subpart P (Excavations).
- Skills:
- Excellent sales principles and customer service practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
- Technology:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Experience using Construct Connect to identify new opportunities, companies, and contacts.
- Education:
- High school diploma required; a BS degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
