Job Title: Guest Service Representative
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary
SpringHill Suites Mooresville is currently accepting applications for front desk agents to serve as our guests first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests following all Marriott procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests needs
- Must be flexible to work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, weekends, and holidays. Schedules change weekly
- Must have reliable transportation
Skills
- Work experience as a front desk agent, receptionist or similar role
- Experience with Fosse is a plus
- Experience with 3rd party travel sites
- Great customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Background and Drug Screenings are mandatory.
