Position Overview:
As a Bartender at Springhill Suites Navarre Beach, you will provide guests with excellent service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in our hotel lounge or bar area. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Take drink orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Engage with guests, offering recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Bartender Duties:
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Bar Operations:
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment regularly.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked with liquor, beer, and other necessary items.
Compliance and Safety:
- Comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and fellow employees.
- Check IDs for age verification and monitor alcohol consumption for responsible service.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other hotel staff, such as servers and housekeeping, to provide seamless service.
- Assist with other duties as needed during busy periods or special events.
Inventory and Stocking:
- Assist in monitoring inventory and restocking liquor and supplies.
- Report any stock shortages or damaged items to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred.
