Position: Sales Manager (Position is not remote)
We’re looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Sales Manager who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about hospitality. This is your chance to grow your career with a high-performing team in one of the most breathtaking destinations in the country.
As Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving group business to the hotel. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, managing group reservations and events from start to finish, and collaborating across departments to ensure a smooth and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business and increase revenue through cold calls, sales tours, site visits, and local community networking, while also nurturing existing accounts — this will make up 85% of your focus
- Identify new business opportunities by monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with group and catering clients to grow our market share
- Book, manage, and execute all group business and events from initial inquiry through completion
- Qualify incoming leads and make outbound sales calls as needed
- Respond promptly to RFPs and group inquiries, negotiate rates, prepare contracts, build group blocks, and manage rooming lists when needed
- Act as the lead contact for all group events and banquets, serving as a liaison between Sales and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless planning and execution
- Collaborate closely with Front Desk and other departments to coordinate event logistics and maintain a strong internal team dynamic
- Oversee the planning and ensure execution across departments for in-house meetings and events
- Represent the hotel professionally at tradeshows, conferences, and community events in line with our marketing strategy and budget (some travel required)
- Maintain accurate records in sales management systems, adhering to brand standards
- Collect, compile, and track billing and payment information for all group accounts
- Conduct site tours and showcase event space and guest rooms to prospective clients
- Demonstrate consistent punctuality and maintain professional appearance in accordance with dress code standards
- Visible body tattoos may be asked to be covered
What We're Looking For:
- Proven ability to drive sales and build strong client relationships
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality sales practices and hotel operations
- Previous hotel sales or group/event management experience preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows, conferences, or client meetings
- Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
