Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate has dental insurance experience to support our front office, is organized, personable, and understands the flow of a dental practice. Strong knowledge of insurance verification, ADA procedure codes, and frequency limitations is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits accurately
- Knowledge of ADA procedure codes and how they relate to coverage
- Collect and post patient payments and co-pays
- Manage appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and time management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance information
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support office operations.
Experience
- 1 year of dental office experience required
- Familiarity with dental office software, Eaglesoft, is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with ADA dental procedure codes and coverage frequency rules
- Strong computer literacy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
