About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Project Manager to serve as an Owner's Representative. As a key facilitator between Owners and the project team, you will ensure seamless operations and fulfillment of client expectations. Your organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in managing budgets, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, and keeping projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of all project aspects, including budgeting, permitting, engineering proposals, and scheduling for effective project management.
- Establish and rigorously manage a complete project budget.
- Negotiate, analyze, and execute contracts with strategic insight and precision.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders (Owner, Architect, Contractor) to foster positive relationships and ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and conduct site reviews to monitor progress, resolve issues, and liaise with the general contractor and the broader project team.
- Oversee accounting functions according to company guidelines, review change orders, and adjust job cost budgets as necessary.
Requirements :
1-3 years of proven experience as an Owner's Representative in construction project management.Strong understanding of construction processes, design management, and contract nuances.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage a diverse team.Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strong focus on detail.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.Valid California Driver's License.Physical Requirements :
Able to navigate construction sites and varying terrains safely.Capable of performing site visits, which may include standing, walking, or climbing for extended periods.Able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds occasionally.Required visual acuity and manual dexterity for reading documents and operating computers.Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions in compliance with the ADA and other regulations.Salary Range :
125,000 - $145,000 plus bonus potential.
