SUMMARY
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.
- Set up new equipment and assemble it to completion.
- Contact vendors for quotes regarding equipment and machinery.
- Maintain facility and machinery for maximum production capability.
- Repair a variety of small tools and electronic components.
- Troubleshoot CNC controls and electronics, making necessary repairs.
- Utilize knowledge of G codes and M codes to test CNC machines.
- Contact machine manufacturers for input on machine repairs.
- Make repairs to office and building as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment.
- Maintain plant and machinery for optimal production capability.
- Attend training on manufacturing topics as directed.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Requires a minimum of five years experience in maintenance.
- Experience with NC Machining and CNC programming preferred
Position Requirements:
- Strong electromechanical skillset
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
- Experience with correct and preventative maintenance procedures on a wide range of equipment
Skills & Abilities:
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to wire machines to 208/480 3 phase or single phase, including running conduit and/or transformers.
