Overview
SpringSeal, Inc- a leader in sealing systems- is looking for a full time Production Scheduler. This person will be responsible for the planning, development and management of production schedules to meet the customer's delivery requirements and best utilize the productive capacity of the company.
Responsibilities
- This person will partner with Customer Service, Sales, Production Staff and Purchasing to develop and adjust schedules to meet production goals.
- This person will analyze production requirements and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tooling and personnel needed to meet production demands.
- Additionally, this person will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary resources are available for the production process- including labor and machinery; assessing and identifying any issues that might impact production and implementing corrective actions when and where necessary.
- Regular and consistent communication must occur with department supervisors regarding any changes to assess progress and needs to complete the projects. This person will be responsible for the creation of short- and long-term production schedules to be distributed to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Production Scheduler, or Planner.
- Must have an understanding of Plastic Manufacturing and the process of Extrusion, Molding, and Thermoforming preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to new situations as they occur.
