SpringVale Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time OR Part-Time Children's Outpatient Counselor to provide assessments and counseling services to children and adolescents on an individual or family basis at our Dover office .

Responsibilities:
- Provides assessment and planning services utilizing appropriate clinical skills and training. With the input of the client, family members or guardian establishes appropriate ISP treatment goals and objectives based on the assessment information. At the appropriate time, utilizes assessment information to establish appropriate interventions, allowable services, and appropriate time frames.
- Executes counseling services utilizing appropriate clinical skills, training and treatment modalities, as based on identified goals, objectives and services.
- Completes intake forms and assessment updates within timeframes established by SpringVale Health Centers' policies and procedures, ODMH, and other regulatory agencies. Assures clinical consistency between the diagnostic assessment and identified needs, the ISP, and the services received.
- Demonstrates clinical skills, knowledge and competence in utilizing program-related, research based treatment approaches, general knowledge of psychotropic medications and potential side-effects.
- Advocates for the patient and demonstrates comprehension of all services offered by SpringVale Health Centers to provide the best service to our clients.
- Collaborates with community professionals, agencies and significant others as appropriate and documents in progress note.
- Demonstrates knowledge of community resources or refers clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Ohio licensure as an LPC, LPCC, LSW or LISW. Candidates must have strong communication skills, excellent time management, display professional decision-making capabilities, and have a passion for counseling youth and adolescents.
