What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon / Evening Kitchen Staff position at Springville Market?
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, friendly Team Member to join our team. Start time is flexable, but ideally would start at 12:30pm or 2pm. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our customers. This position will be responsible for closing the store and ensuring all nightly tasks are completed. The store closes at 7:30, and clockout time is typically shortly after that. Must be 18 or older
Duties:
-Food preparation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Help with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Take food orders from customers
- Check out customer orders at the register
-Complete nightly cleanup / shut down
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
