Part-Time BookkeeperSprinkman Real Estate Property Management

Sprinkman Real Estate is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of our real estate brokerage and property management divisions. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day financial processes, accurate reporting, and efficient commission processing. The ideal candidate is an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

What Makes This Role Unique

Unlike traditional bookkeeping roles, this position supports multiple financial entities, including:

  • Sprinkman Real Estate – Managing daily expenses, check writing, agent commission processing (a high-priority responsibility), monthly reporting, and year-end tax preparation.
  • Sprinkman Property Management – Overseeing expenses, rent remittance, property owner financial tracking, and monthly reporting.
  • Investment Properties & Rentals – Assisting ownership with personal bookkeeping related to real estate investments.

This means our bookkeeping function requires strong organizational skills, financial accuracy, and adaptability to support both our agents and property management clients.

What You’ll Do

As the Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our financial records. You will work independently while also collaborating with leadership to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agent Commission Processing – Accurately track, process, and distribute agent commissions in a timely manner.
  • Expense Management – Monitor and record day-to-day business expenses, ensuring proper categorization and reconciliation.
  • Check Writing & Payments – Prepare and issue checks for various expenses, including vendor payments and operational costs.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting – Generate reports for leadership, ensuring accurate tracking of financial performance.
  • Year-End Tax Preparation – Organize and prepare financial records for tax filings in collaboration with our accounting team.
  • Property Management Bookkeeping – Track rent payments, remit payments to property owners, and manage expense reports.
  • Investment Property Support – Assist ownership with bookkeeping for personal real estate investments and rental properties.
  • Financial Accuracy & Compliance – Maintain organized and up-to-date records to ensure compliance with accounting best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in Bookkeeping, preferably in real estate or property management.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Experience with agent commission processing (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to manage multiple financial accounts with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with agents, leadership, and property owners.
  • Experience handling sensitive financial information with discretion.
