Job Overview
We are seeking a Weekends only skilled Diesel Technician for small fleet of hotshot 1 ton trucks to join our team. Part time position Only.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, including but not limited to shocks, struts, and other critical components.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as necessary for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics with a focus on diesel engines.
- Experience as a service technician with hands-on mechanical skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of shocks, struts, and other suspension systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing updates on repairs.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for operating vehicles within the workshop.
