Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our Midland office. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tax services to our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct thorough tax research and stay current with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients when needed.
- Assist in supervision of junior tax staff, offering guidance and mentorship.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
