What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Replenishment position at Sprouts Farmers Market?
The Manager of Replenishment has a key leadership role within the supply chain organization. This role will have up to 5 Replenishment Specialists as direct reports. These positions are responsible for ensuring there is enough product flowing through our Supply Chain – Vendor to Store to drive key KPI measures (Fill-Rate, Turn, Instocks & Dwell). The Manager of Replenishment along with the Sr. Demand Planner and Sr. Manager play a key role with the Category Management and Merchandise Planning teams to ensure all goals are being achieved including Sales, Margin, Inventory and Supply Chain Cost. They will work closely with the Demand Planners to ensure all future forecasts are within acceptable tolerances for accuracy. They will lead the Replenishment Specialists to ensure a timely flow of goods so we can deliver an exceptional experience for our customers through in-stock positions and the freshest product available. They will also partner closely with the internal partners (DC, Inbound logistics, Vendor Collaboration) and our external vendor partners to ensure efficiencies and innovation in managing our supply chain cost while achieving our goal of Freshness First.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Leading a team Replenishment Specialists to achieve sales, margin, fill-rate, dwell, shrink and turn goals.’
- Direct partnership with Category Managers, Category Directors, and Merchandise Planning to ensure all forecasts align to meet goals with a focus on the future
- Partners with Category Manager and Vendor Collaboration to work with vendors who are failing to meet on-time and fill-rate expectations
- Works directly with the Replenishment Operations team to drive on-going efficiencies in tools, process and training based on feedback from the team
- Active participant in leadership meetings calling out opportunities to achieve goal
- Ability to communicate complex technical and non-technical opportunities clearly and concisely
- Develop, coach and mentor the team for professional development and career growth
- Key leadership contributor to drive corporate values of caring, owning it, and our love for being different
- Ability to travel to stores, distribution centers and trade shows.
