Pricing Analyst I -New Graduate Program

This is a full-time role, based in Phoenix, for graduates within one year of graduation (August 2024 – May 2025). This entry-level position offers a unique blend of learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience in supporting the Merchandising Department's profitability. As a Pricing Analyst, you will directly contribute to driving profitability and shared growth by assisting the pricing team in enforcing pricing strategies, executing daily pricing changes, and collaborating with merchandising and pricing teams to meet financial objectives. This program features an enhanced onboarding experience focused on corporate acclimation, including direct exposure to executive leadership, personalized mentor pairing, and an onboarding ambassador to guide you through your first months.

• Rotational Learning: Participate in a structured rotational program, gaining exposure to various aspects of pricing, including strategy development, competitive analysis, and price execution.
• Enhanced Corporate Transition Onboarding:
• Participate in a comprehensive onboarding program designed to ease the transition from academia to the corporate world, covering topics such as professional communication, time management, and company culture.
• Engage in sessions with executive leadership to gain insights into the company’s strategic direction and operational priorities.
• Be paired with an experienced mentor who will provide ongoing guidance, career development advice, and support.
• Be assigned an onboarding ambassador, a peer mentor, who will provide day-to-day guidance, answer questions, and help you navigate the initial stages of your role.

• Analyze market trends, product volume, margin, prices and promotional strategies, competitive data, and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Partner with Category Management to understand product characteristics and relationships. Perform detailed analysis to optimize prices for merchandising categories. Track and measure incremental sales and margin.
• Generate, analyze, and distribute key business reports; review weekly, monthly and quarterly results, and provide stakeholders with key findings and recommendations.
• Effectively present recommendations to colleagues for review and to all levels of the organization using various modes of communication/presentation.
• Monitor and ensure decisions are in compliance with pricing strategy
• Provide pricing backup support in multiple departments as needed.

• Obtain or be in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. (August 2024 – May 2025 graduates)
• GPA of 3.7 or higher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in retail, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
• No previous pricing experience required.
