What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snack Shop Attendant ~ Christian Retreat Center position at Spruce Lake?
The Snack Shop Attendant is responsible for serving campers, guests and staff ice cream, sodas and other snacks with highest standards of service and hospitality.
Snack Shop Attendant Prerequisites:
- Growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and spiritual maturity to lead self and others.
- Must affirm, live and model Spruce Lake Ministries mission, vision, statement of faith and core values.
- Conducts him/herself in a manner that is above reproach.
Accountability: Snack Shop Manager
Qualifications
- High school education of 10th grade or higher
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Maturity and flexibility to work in a variety of roles.
Physical Requirements: Physical health to meet demands of camp environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Duties will include scooping and serving ice cream, making and serving milkshakes, frier and grill menu items, cleaning kitchen and restaurant areas.
Other Responsibilities
- Adherence and knowledge of the summer staff manual policies and procedures.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and prayer times.
- Other duties as assigned.
