ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

The Office Administrator role is critical to the success of the company, ensuring the efficiency and organization of daily operations within the office. This position is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, maintaining office procedures, and supporting staff to create a productive work environment. The Office Administrator ensures seamless coordination of office activities and team support while upholding company policies and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position will be based at our Corporate Office in Anderson, IN., and report to the Chief People Officer – Derek Gillam.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workplace.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, and kitchen supplies and upkeep.
  • Coordinate office procedures, administrative support, and document management including filing and scanning.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and company event coordination.
  • Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and answering the doorbell for visitors.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and managing outbound FedEx shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, office protocols, and health and safety regulations.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance communication and support interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional office environment for employees and visitors.
  • As a valuable team member in a team environment, being willing to work on other duties to assist as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • High school education (or equivalent), with post-secondary pursuit preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in related field (i.e., business, office administration)
  • Ability to navigate computer proficiently, with programs or software systems experience
  • Ability to plan effectively

  • Travel – ability to travel on rare occasion to vendor locations or other Spry, Inc. locations

COMPENSATIONS AND BENEFITS:

  • Full-Time, Hourly position
  • Compensation Range $19.25 - $20.50/hour
  • Participation in company bonus program
  • Eligible for company sponsored health benefits and 401K matching, according to benefit timelines
  • Employer paid Group Life coverage
  • Paid-Time Off (PTO) in accordance with company policy
