Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry Methods is on the search for a Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
\n- Coordinates with Cyber Defense Analysts to manage and administer the updating of rules and signatures for specialized cyber defense applications.
- Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems and Virtual Private Network (VPN) devices, to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.
- Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
- Build, install, configure, and test dedicated cyber defense hardware.
- Assist in assessing the impact of implementing and sustaining a dedicated cyber defense infrastructure.
- Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) requirements for dedicated cyber defense systems within the enterprise, and document and maintain records for them.
- Top Secret Clearance Required
- Experience with Linux based environment administration
- Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
- Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
- Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
- Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python
- Preferred Certifications:
- o Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
- o AWS Certified Cloud Practioner
- o AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
