Who We're Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry is looking for a teammate to help the Marine Corps author and shape the next generation of network architecture and cyber strategy in support of the Deputy Commandant for Information at Headquarters Marine Corps. You will work with a team within the Enterprise and Expeditionary Services Section to author implementation plans, refine network architecture, and support development or updating of Marine Corps communications policies.
\n- You will work closely with Headquarters Marine Corps Deputy Commandant Information Civilian and Military team to provide input and author the next generation of Cyber Strategy for the Marine Corps.
- In this role you will also:
- Construct and publish reference architecture for Marine Corps networks and infrastructure.
- Develop funding profiles and provide input into the needed resources for implementation of the proposed modernization
- Coordinate, and at times lead, Working Groups or Operational Planning Teams (OPT) made up of Marine Corps communication SMEs spread out across the globe.
- DOD SECRET Clearance
- Technical writing skills to prepare reports, presentations, and documents for different stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Subject Matter Expertise of Marine Corps networks, infrastructure and communications
- Experience writing Marine Corps-wide administrative correspondence (MARADMINs), Marine Corps Bulletins (MCBULs) and SECNAV instructions.
- Prior Marine Corps experience is highly preferred
- Experience and understanding of Marine Corps structure and organizations
- Experience leading virtual Working Groups and Teams dispersed throughout the globe.
- Understanding of the Requirements process and JCIDS
