Job Description: Night Shift Team Leader

The NSTL Manager:

• Lead a crew of 3 to 5 including him/herself. Time in, out and production levels.
• Completes the corresponding paperwork for the unloading/ loading of product.
• Is responsible for maintaining a safe working area. Proper use of all equipment.
• Reports any issues with facility or equipment to Warehouse Manager via phone and verbal when available. Hazards/accidents are reported immediately via phone calls to management.
• Is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of working area and storage area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations

• Replenish pick lines with product when needed.
• Checking all products against the manifest/pick list prior to shipping.
• Checking the products and packaging for any signs of damage and making the required notifications.
• Complete paperwork necessary to locate product inventory.

Product Loading/Unloading

• Responsible for all Hills outbound activities.
• Unloading carts off trucks and insuring paperwork is completed for return product.
• Moving the products from its location to the appropriate staging area for shipment.
• Load truck(s) for daily deliveries with assistance from the warehouse staff.
• Ensuring all products are properly secured in the trailers for shipping.

Payroll

• Responsible for making sure crew clocks in and out for arrival and departure.
• Monitor break time for warehouse staff.
• Lunch time in and out.

Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe work area, free from excess debris on floors, racks, and outside dock areas.
• Discuss rolling racks on to trucks, picking heavy bags, etc.

Warehouse Maintenance

• While making final rounds for the night note any warehouse issues as needed (making minor repairs to the warehouse).

Equipment Maintenance

• Conduct nightly inspection for conditioning of trucks and trailers to be loaded. Insuring clean, lights working, doors working and no roof leaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
