Job Summary: 

Spudnik is seeking a Product Management Specialist to oversee the lifecycle of our potato equipment. This role will involve market analysis, product development, and coordination between R&D, engineering, sales, and production teams to ensure innovative and high-quality solutions for the agricultural industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the potato industry, customer needs, and product performance requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy & Development: 

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation in the potato sector. 

• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop new products or enhance existing equipment. 

• Define product specifications, features, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge. 

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company goals. 

Market & Customer Engagement: 

• Work closely with marketing, sales, farmers and dealers to gather insights and feedback on product performance. 

• Assist the sales team by providing product training, technical expertise, and competitive analysis. 

• Develop marketing materials, presentations, and product documentation. 

• Work with customer support to address product-related concerns and improve user experience. 

• Help coordinate and facilitate Demonstrations of machines in the field. Including operation of machines.  

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. 

• Experience: 3 years in product management, sales, or development within the agricultural, food processing, or equipment manufacturing industries. 

• Strong understanding of potato and farming, harvesting, and processing. 

• Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing product lifecycles. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and data analysis software. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in potato farming or processing equipment. 

• Knowledge of mechanical or agricultural engineering principles. 

• Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and automation trends.
