What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Truck Driver (Rolloff) position at Spur One Inc.?
Spur Environmental Services is a fast paced and rapidly growing Environmental Firm serving Texas and the surrounding areas. We are currently in search of a talented and experienced Roll-off Truck Driver who is self-motivated, team oriented, and safe. Job includes operating Single-Rail, Double-Rail and Bobtail units hauling waste to various disposal sites. This individual must have several proven years of experience in these operations and the willingness to learn how to operate additional types of equipment. This position does require the use of several applications on a Smart Phone. Verification of experience will be tested prior to hiring. Position Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License without restrictions (Most Tucks are Manual Transmission)
- Tanker Endorsement (or Obtained within the first 30 days of employment).
- Ability to follow instructions to complete all required transportation documents, i.e., Waste Manifests and BOLs. (Training Provided)
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and periodic weekends.
- Travel Periodically.
- Required to be clean shaven to wear a respirator, as needed. (Mustache acceptable)
- Driver will be required to read, speak and write clearly in English. (Bi-Lingual applicants encouraged to apply)
