Spur Staffing is looking for a dedicated Customer Service worker committed to providing a clean and fun environment for the Decatur Municipality. Decatur Municipality is seeking a professional with a work ethic, problem solving and interpersonal relations skills with a desire to invoke positive change in the Decatur Municipality.
Major Duties Include But Not Limited To:
- General cleaning of facilities.
- Maintain and keep buildings and properties in clean and orderly conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance activities.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties.
- Sweep, mops, scrubs and vacuum floors.
- Set-up and break-down of equipment.
- Cleans and maintains center facilities.
- All others duties as assigned.
Knowledge Required By The Position:
- Decatur City and Departmental policies and procedures.
- Program planning and management principles.
- Public relations principles.
- Modern office procedures and equipment.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office and outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. Worker will be exposed to dust, dirt and grease. Worker requires the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, gloves, etc.
- Work will include sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, stooping and climbing.
- Worker must be able to lift 25 lbs or more.
Uniform: Decatur will provide uniform requirements once hired.
Status: Part-time / Up to 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $14.00 p/hour
