What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Behavioral Health Home Program Supervisor position at Spurwink Services?
The Children's Behavioral Heath Home (BHH) Supervisor is responsible for the operation and functioning of all aspects of the program(s) to which they are assigned. This will include the administrative and supervisory functions of the program. BHH Supervisors are responsible for the direct supervision of employees and in this role are responsible for supporting the employee in meeting all the requirements of their jobs, as well as supporting the professional growth of employees. Supervisors assure that Spurwink clients receive quality services and trauma informed care. The BHH supervisor also works collaboratively with other agency departments to best support quality programming and the fiscal health of the programs for which they are responsible. This position pays $66,500-$70,500 depending on experience.
DUTIES:
- Interview, hire, train, supervise and evaluate employees, in conjunction with the Associate Director and/or Director.
- Monitor productivity expectations of employees and all day-to-day programmatic functions.
- Provide individual supervision, group supervision (as appropriate) and facilitate staff meetings.
- Complete administrative functions like referral tracking, productivity management, fiscal reporting and grant oversight.
- Carry cases and maintain productivity expectations as determined by the Associate Director and/or Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited school and Maine state licensure required for clinical positions (LCSW, LCPC preferred, LMSW-cc and LCPC-c will be considered). Experience with evidence-based practices, assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness and substance use disorders. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership skills and organizational skills.
