Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, has been engaged by Fleet Glass Services, LLC to conduct a search for a Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist.
Fleet Glass Services is a commercial fleet and heavy equipment installer of windshields and other glass related products. Our certified, trained and experienced technicians have helped fleets of all kinds stay on the road and in production. We offer mobile service for our clients’ vehicles and equipment and are available to come to the vehicle, whether it’s at a job site, on the side of a highway or at a maintenance facility. Our reliable technicians enable fleets big and small to maintain their efficiency and minimize their downtime.
Reporting to the Company CEO, the Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent to support Fleet Glass Services’ continued growth and success. The role will work closely with the organization’s leadership team to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the organization, focusing on mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, and other service/field roles.
- Support new hire training and onboarding, including educating new hires about company payroll and benefits.
- Manage the interview and hiring process, keeping close contact with Fleet Glass Services’ leadership team.
- Utilize multiple sourcing tools and resources, including job boards, social media, personal and professional network, and referrals, to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Screen and evaluate candidates through interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
- Research and continuously improve existing candidate assessments.
- Provide weekly hiring and pipeline reports, including relevant KPIs, to Fleet Glass Services’ leadership team.
- Monitor career progression plans to help employees grow within the organization.
- Utilize the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to track and evaluate employee success.
- Capture and organize critical employee feedback from other parties within the organization to help facilitate the employee’s career development.
- Foster a positive work culture that enhances employee satisfaction and reduces turnover.
- Promote the company as an employer of choice through branding initiatives.
- Build relationships with universities, industry organizations, and recruitment firms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the automotive, construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS.
