What to expect:
You will be part of a global inspection team assuring quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client need and each supplier’s production schedule.
Location: Stuart, FL | Compensation: $29-$31/hr. | Schedule: 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm & 2nd shift, 2pm-10pm | Contract: 1 year | Full-Time | Local Only
\n- Inspects mechanical and sheet metal final assembly installations of the aircraft such as fuselage, wings, flaps, landing gears, and tail assemblies.
- Final product verification to drawing requirements.
- Nonconformance Investigations.
- In-process and Final Witness / inspection
- Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
- Frequent contact with individuals representing other departments.
- Duties & tasks are varied and moderately complex.
- Product inspection capability, understanding work instructions / travelers and process flow.
- A&P Mechanic with IA (Inspection Authorization) would be considered.
- Aircraft structures and sheet metal experience required.
- GD&T skills required.
- Must reside within 50 miles of Stuart, Fl.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to undergo background check.
