Position Overview : This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Mechanical Inspector to work with an elite aerospace company. The role involves conducting inspections on mechanical parts and composites at various client-supplier sites across the greater San Francisco Bay area. The position requires travel between different suppliers, with reimbursement for mileage, travel time, and lodging if necessary. After completing this role, you will join a prestigious database of inspectors, eligible for future projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform in-process and final source inspections of composite and mechanical parts.
- Conduct precise mechanical inspections using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
- Travel between supplier locations in the greater Seattle area (mileage and travel time reimbursed).
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards and regulations.
