What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Consultant/Mid-Level Staff position at Square One?
Square One Autism Services has an opening for a Mid-Level Consultant to provide direct in-home services to clients in the Elk Grove, South Sacramento, Pocket and surrounding areas. This is a full time job. Direct hours average 25 per week with a scheduled caseload of 27-30 hours weekly. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00-6:30pm. Direct hourly rates DOE, starting at $40/hr for bachelor's level and $50/hr for a master's degree.
The ideal candidate is organized, a self-starter, independent, possesses strong communication skills, and has some knowledge of the PRT approach.
Mid-Level Consultant Responsibilities
- Programs - implement program goals for clients and parents/ caregivers
- Caseload - ensure cases are maintained at appropriate rate of hours, in collaboration with referral coordinator
- Reports - assess and complete client reports, edit and ensure timely submission
- Clinical - tracking current case status, progress, barriers to progress, in conjunction with Program Supervisor
- Calendars - maintain electronic calendar and update weekly, daily if necessary
- Hours - ensure you are fulfilling recommended client hours (at least 25 direct hours per week)
- Session Notes- complete and uploaded to electronic system
- Email - respond to email within 1-2 business days, sooner if urgent
- Billing - submit billing according to stated timelines and rules
- Assessments - conduct Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) assessments

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master's preferred
- 4 years experience in ABA
- 2 years experience in Supervision
