Job Overview:
The Leasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all leasing activities at our community, driving resident satisfaction, and maintaining a high occupancy rate. This role requires a strong customer-focused attitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team of leasing agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry to signed lease agreement, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective residents.
- Monitor and manage occupancy rates, rental renewals, and rental pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Assist in marketing and advertising the community through various channels (online, social media, etc.) to attract prospective residents.
- Provide tours of the property, highlighting key amenities and features of available apartments.
- Handle inquiries from prospective residents, answering questions and providing necessary information about floor plans, rental terms, and community features.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing and resident files in the property management system.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure timely response to resident needs and requests.
- Assist in the preparation of leasing reports and occupancy projections for upper management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 3 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
