Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collect and record bets accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.
- Pay winning wagers according to the correct odds, guaranteeing that guests receive accurate payouts.
- Explain betting rules, options, and promotions, addressing any guest inquiries to enhance their experience.
- Balance cash and ticket sales daily to ensure all funds are accounted for.
- Engage with customers about various betting options, fostering conversations that encourage participation.
- Resolve customer disputes or complaints promptly, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
- Assist supervisors in identifying guests with special needs or high-stakes betting patterns to protect company assets while providing excellent service.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious wagering activities.
- Adhere to established business processes to optimize speed and efficiency throughout your shift.
