About the role and job:
Plan and lead the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, including work planning, scheduling, budgeting, metrics, training, pilots, and resources. Collaborate with all project teams to manage interdependencies, ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities, and monitor & control progress through the deployment plan,
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deployment Execution:
- Execute deployment plans and oversee the deployment process to production environments
- Monitor the release in real-time, addressing any issues that may arise during deployment
- Broadcast Status updates with all the stakeholders related to Release
- Post successful Deployment, coordinate with Business, provide timely status updates, and ensure successful completion of testing
- Work proactively and get the issues fixed during Deployment and PIT by involving concerned teams using Jira Service Management Alerts
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate release status, progress, and issues to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate with business units and support teams to manage expectations and address concerns
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and improve the release management process based on industry best practices and lessons learned from previous releases
- Implement tools and methodologies to enhance the efficiency of release processes
- Hands-on experience on JSM (Jira Service Management)
