The Role
We are seeking a Community Data Innovation Strategist to lead our data-driven transformation initiatives in education, agriculture, health equity, and community development. This role requires a cutting-edge thinker, builder, and doer who is passionate about equity, thrives on innovation, and uses data to tell stories, drive decisions, and shape the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Deploy Innovative Data Tools: Develop interactive dashboards, predictive models, and data visualizations using state-of-the-art tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
- Lead SR1's Data Ecosystem: Architect SR1's data collection, management, and reporting pipelines across education, agriculture, and community programs.
- Generate Actionable Insights: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions in academic outcomes, health equity, workforce development, AgTech, and more.
- Train and Empower Teams: Develop internal capacity through workshops and trainings so staff and stakeholders can engage meaningfully with data.
- Champion Equity-First Data Practices: Apply global thinking lens to all data projects; develop frameworks to track outcomes for historically marginalized populations.
- Be a Self-Starter and Thought Leader: Propose new methods, spot patterns early, explore cutting-edge research, and keep SR1 ahead of the curve in the data-for-good space.
