Title: Oracle EPM FP&A Architect
Duration: 6 plus months (Contract to hire)
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Consultant has to be from NV or CA or AZ, or UT)
Responsibilities:
Ability to create / trouble shoot reports in Essbase Cubes would be a good skill at this stage of the project to help stabilize and address any gaps in original requirements
The Oracle Finance Technical Architect will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle FP&A, evaluating, designing, and implementing technology solutions aligned with business needs and the broader enterprise architectural vision.
They will partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, implementation partner(s), and Agile delivery teams to bring to life and sustain an Oracle FP&A solution.
They will offer in-depth technical expertise in Oracle FP&A and provide configuration management, technical dependency analysis, and configure the FP&A solution with the workflows, reports, interfaces, configurations, extensions, and forms necessary to meet requirements. They also support upgrade and patch management, incident management, and unit testing.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle EPM and Essebase cube implementation and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include: Drive Oracle FP&A technology and data solution assessments to provide point-of-view and recommendations on Management Reporting, Capital Project, Planning, Annual Budget & Forecasting, Daily Operations Report and Property weekly forecasting.
Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions for the business teams.
Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
Initiate Data Governance and Data Management capabilities to resolve business problems and achieve client s strategic business goals.
Resolve the complexities of cross-property and diverse teams competing requirements.
Design and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Oracle EsseBase tools.
Perform data integration tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), to populate the analytics warehouse, and conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure efficient data processing and query performance
