Role: Application Data Engineer Student Systems
Preferably NY based, if the client wants meet the consultant ,he needs to visit the college,
Need locals to NY and NJ
Student Systems role based on the RFP specifications:
1. Data Engineering Skills
Data Integration & Pipeline Development:
Expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines.
Proficiency in managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Strong experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data flows.
Data Modeling:
Ability to design and maintain data models for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Documentation of data models and integration processes.
2. Technical Proficiency
Programming Languages:
Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, SQL, or Scala.
ETL Tools:
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi, or similar.
Cloud & Big Data Platforms:
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
Database Management:
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
APIs & Data Integration:
Proficiency in integrating systems using APIs and middleware.

6. Additional Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
10 years in application development, data systems design, or similar roles.
Experience with higher education, government, or corporate projects.
Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
