We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Body Repair and Paint Technician to join our team at SRM Concrete. The ideal Candidate should have expertise in working with various surfaces, including fiberglass and metal, and be able to perform light to heavy repairs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light to heavy automotive body repairs on different types of surfaces.
• Repair fiberglass fenders and hoods using a two-part epoxy.
• Disassemble and reassemble Mixer body parts.
• Prep panels for primer and paint.
• Perform auto body repairs to OEM standards.
• Prime and tape trucks for paint application.
• Dispose of waste properly

Qualifications:
Paint and/ or refinish repair areas on vehicle to achieve a better than factory finish.

• Set up ladders, and scaffolding according to regulation.
• Use of PPE and knowledge of hazardous waste disposal procedures
• Set up portable equipment, such as ventilators, exhaust units, ladders, or scaffolding
• Sand vehicle surfaces between coats of paint or primer to remove flaws and enhance adhesion for subsequent coats.
• Previous welding experience
• Ability to straighten sheet metal.
• Frame machine and welding experience.
• Experience working with metals, including aluminum.
