Summary
I & C Specialist Trainee (Instrument & Controls) duties are : Satisfactory completion of all Instrument Specialist training objectives to allow for promotion to the Specialist position. The Instrument Specialist Trainee will be involved in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all instrumentation related to the specific facility. The degree of these maintenance functions will vary among facilities and are not necessarily listed in the duties below, but are expected of this position. In addition to Instrumentation duties, there are varying levels of maintenance and operations tasks dictated by the requirements of the various facilities.
Any one position may not include all duties nor do the example of duties include all tasks, which may be found in the position of this class.
What You'll Do
What It Takes To Succeed
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience
Minimum of three years as an O&M III (Operations Primary) or Operations Specialist or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Education
High School, GED or Equivalent.
Testing and Certifications
Must possess the appropriate valid Arizona driver’s license.
Physical Agility Test
Appropriate respirator medical certification, fit test and training required.
