SRS Distribution, Inc is hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor, we grow steadily, and each new branch brings more invoices and volume our way. Essential Job Functions
Ensure communication and support to department employees
Serve as liaison for resolving complicated vendor issues
Effectively delegate workload and tasks to meet Account Payable SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
Monitor daily workload of department staff to ensure all processes are performed timely
Oversee Training of new and existing employees on processes performed by the department and monitor progress
Evaluate employee performance in preparation of career development discussions and reviews
Work on special projects as assigned
Review and approve timecards and time off requests
Take appropriate action in correcting employee performance and conduct
Assist with monitoring internal controls to ensure proper controls are in place and are followed
Review resumes, screen, interview potential hires
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
Associates or bachelor’s preferred but not required
Minimum of 5 years Accounts Payable experience
Ability to response professionally and calmly work under pressure
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Excellent communication and organizational skills to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with DMSI, P2P, OCR and MS Dynamics GP are a plus
Attentional to detail is a must
Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding and motivational skills is a must
