Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Initiation:
- Collaborate with third parties/vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
2. Planning:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure comprehensive project specifications and compliance with regulations.
3. Procurement:
- Identify and select subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure quality services at competitive prices.
- Oversee the procurement process for necessary materials and equipment
4. Execution:
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Lead project meetings to communicate progress, address issues, and keep all team members aligned.
5. Monitoring and Control:
- Track project performance, analyzing progress against timelines and budgets.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project objectives.
6. Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project status and any changes in scope or scheduling.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout construction.
- Conduct site inspections and facilitate necessary testing and approvals.
8. Project Closing:
- Oversee final inspections and obtain necessary certifications and approvals.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports and financial reconciliations.
- Conduct a post-project evaluation to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge using Buildops is preferred
- Strong knowledge of RFP/RFQ-Request for proposal/quotes
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and construction project management
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, construction processes and OSHA safety guidelines.
