Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, or Atlanta Area (Hybrid)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Candidate must be able to work onsite at Delta offices in Oakland, Rancho Cordova, or Alpharetta a few times every month.
Job Description:
The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader for agile team(s) and act as a facilitator for the development team and Product Owner. They will be responsible for driving delivery, managing risks, issues, and dependencies, and owning team communications. The Scrum Master will lead the organization in diligently applying Agile/Scrum practices, values, roles, and theory while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and communicate requirements effectively.
- Remove impediments and obstacles to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment, promoting open communication and trust.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and manage dependencies.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights on team performance.
- Good understanding of software design and delivery, technical terminology, and processes/systems.
- Strong servant leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Visio, Jira, Confluence, Jira Align, and Miro.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of IVR Technologies, including systems, platforms, and related technologies.
- Experience with Genesys CX Cloud is preferred.
