Description
Provide service, testing, inspection and repair of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
- Diagnose and evaluate systems which require servicing; troubleshoot issues that arise during inspection
- Provide solutions and/or recommendations to bring systems back in operating working condition in the most beneficial way for the customer
- Complete all activities related to service and installation of fire protection systems
- Complete fire sprinkler and pump testing documentation
Qualifications
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
- State of California Sprinkler Fitter Card
- Minimum of 7 years’ industry experience inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems
- Mechanically inclined with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and/or direct others as required
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and safely climb ladders
- The ability to respond quickly to dangerous situations
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical background is required
