Job Summary
- Join our dynamic team as an Associate Scientist in Process Analytics. This role is perfect for candidates with a B.S degree in chemistry or biochemistry and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply. You will be part of a team that defines the quality characteristics of our client’s therapies and optimizes analytical tools to guide development.
- Transition analytical methods from early-stage development teams to the pivotal testing laboratory.
- Perform high-volume testing using HPLC, UHPLC, CE, and Tecan in support of Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Attribute Sciences process development teams.
- Document analyses in electronic lab notebook and perform tracking and trend analysis of method performance.
- Evaluate novel platform methodologies to improve testing efficiencies.
- Perform HPLC/UHPLC and CE method qualification studies to support transfer of methods to pivotal Quality Control teams.
- Collaborate with partner organizations during commercial process development, process characterization, and process validation studies.
- B.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- At least 1 year of scientific experience.
- Good general biochemistry laboratory skills.
- Working knowledge of chromatography including HPLC, UPLC, and CE.
- Proficiency in execution of test methodology following a defined procedure.
- Background in chromatography data software (Waters Empower, Thermo Chromeleon) and/or automation software (Tecan).
