Job Title: Business Systems Analyst I

Location: Hybrid Role (Onsite required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document user requirements in alignment with business objectives, translating these into clear, logical documentation for both business and IT stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, guiding the development of systems that meet customer needs.
• Support accurate solution deployment by reviewing problem logs, assisting with test plans and matrices, and participating in testing and validation efforts.
• Evaluate the business need for solutions to improve business processes or solve problems.
• Serve as the primary resource for defining and documenting system business requirements for our client's project.
• Conduct research and analysis to support process improvements, system enhancements, and problem resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or 4 years of directly related work experience, or Associate s degree plus 2 years of directly related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of IT Business Analysis experience.
• Strong experience in eliciting, documenting, and translating requirements.
• Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Azure Boards for task and requirement tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and adaptable to high-demand, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple high-priority tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with government business, BCBS companies, or healthcare systems.
• Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), HIPAA, or LOMA.

Work Environment:
You'll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team responsible for gathering and translating all business requirements related to our client's applications. This includes requests for new functionality, enhancements to existing systems, and resolving system defects. This role plays a key part in ensuring developers have the clear, actionable requirements needed to deliver successful results.
