Job Title: Microbiology Technician
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
Will assist a daily team of Technicians by collecting samples, test in-process samples, and finished samples.
Media making
Daily water collecting and testing.
Will make and record observations.
Preform simple calculations.
Help with support functions; stocking and distributing supplies, collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
Other tasks as needed.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office skills
Ability to multitask
Aseptic technique
Microbiology background
Previous lab experience
Education:
Associate degree with at least 2 years lab experience (experience can be college lab work).
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Food Science straight from college.
Manager will consider candidates graduating soon.
Additional:
0-2 years relevant experience.
Willing to take a recent grad or soon to graduate.
Master’s degree is overqualified.
