We are seeking a highly organized, skilled, and detail-oriented Transactional / Litigation Legal Secretary to join our real estate law firm and support our litigation team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and secretarial support to attorneys in the transactional department, primarily focused on real estate matters. Additionally, the Candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced law firm, providing essential support to civil and commercial litigation attorneys. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of legal processes related to litigation. This role requires experience in handling a variety of legal documentation, client communications, and coordination of real estate transactions.
Requirements : Key Responsibilities :
Assist attorneys with preparing, drafting, editing, and finalizing legal documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and closing documents.
- File and organize legal documents, maintaining both physical and electronic filing systems.
- Assist attorneys with preparing, revising, and finalizing legal documents such as pleadings, unlawful detainers, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- File court documents electronically using federal and state e-filing systems, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling depositions, court hearings, trials, meetings, and client conferences.
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other litigation materials as required.
- Communicate with court personnel, opposing counsel, process servers, and clients.
- Track litigation deadlines and ensure attorneys are prepared for hearings, motions, and trials.
- Handle administrative duties such as copying, scanning, mailing, and managing attorney correspondence.
