About the Role
This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term patient services and nursing goals and plans ensuring alignment with broader organization priorities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and directing strategic nursing and patient care practices, standards, patient safety, clinical outcomes and patient, employee and physician satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements patient services and nursing practice standards and guidelines across the organization to ensure the safe provision of quality patient care.
- Serves as a role model and mentor to nursing leaders.
- Identifies common opportunities for standardizing processes to achieve a consistent experience for all served.
- Partners across the organization to support smooth transition of care for patients across care settings to ensure optimal setting of care to address patient needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and at least eight years of nursing experience, with four years in leadership. They must be a registered nurse (RN) issued by a compact state or the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
