What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Site Support Technician (H) position at SSM Health?
Maintenance and support of the computer and network hardware, infrastructure and supported applications which may include telecommunication systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works under the guidance of the Senior Analyst Technical Support to provide support and participate in project activities.
- Responsible for facility IS duties, minor hardware/software configuration and repairs.
- Installs, repairs, modifies, maintains and provides technical support for applications, PC operating systems, PC hardware, printers and related peripherals.
- Provides operational and administrative support; testing, printing and report distribution, backups, first line support, etc.
- Utilizes the service ticketing system to log reported issues, document resolution, and/or assign to appropriate work group.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- One year experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
