Job Description
This radiology technologist role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services are provided to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Explaining procedures to patients to ensure understanding and providing appropriate educational materials
- Transporting patients to and from clinical areas, verifying patient identity according to policies and procedures
- Assisting technologists with preparing patients for radiology exams by positioning them for the procedure
- Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent
- IEMA and ARRT credentials within 6 months of hire
- No prior experience required, but a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
