Job Summary
As a traveling nurse, you'll coordinate, facilitate, and perform interdisciplinary plans of care through assessment and evaluation of patient conditions and effectiveness of care under the direction of attending physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team members
- Perform point-of-care testing according to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians regarding plan of care and changes to patient status
- Provide skilled nursing care within established plans of care
- Document visit notes, treatments, and care
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- No experience required
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in state of work location
