The DCO Planner will play a crucial role in supporting Defense Support to all DOD stakeholders.
This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and collaborating with county, state, federal, and DOD stakeholders in response to a state emergency for civil support or planned, prepared, and executed a stand-alone governmental civil support agency coordinated exercise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years of Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) exercise planning
- Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
- Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
- Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge in the development of training scenarios, MSELs, Welcome Packets, Hotwash and After Action Review conduct, and Situation Manual development that will help improve mission readiness at the individual, collective, and leadership levels.
