Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all phases of concrete construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and adhere to project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
  • Lead project meetings to discuss project status, address issues, and align on objectives.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Manage procurement and logistics of materials and equipment.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of concrete mixes and placement techniques.
  • Supervise and mentor project team members, including foremen and laborers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of project activities and changes.
  • Facilitate final inspections and ensure successful project completion and handover.


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the concrete or construction industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex concrete projects from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
  • Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
  • Familiarity with safety standards and risk management practices
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
